Professional Roofing in Devizes

Reliable Roofing Services Across Devizes

Select Paving and Roofing Wiltshire is a third-generation company with 15 years of hands-on experience. From our base in Trowbridge, we work throughout Wiltshire — including Devizes — providing professional roofing services for homeowners, landlords and property developers.

We focus on the parts that determine how a finished roof performs over time, including preparation, ventilation and careful detailing around valleys, chimneys, edges and other junctions. You'll receive a clear quotation before work begins, and our workmanship is supported by a written guarantee.

Roofing Services for Devizes Properties

Devizes contains a broad mix of older town-centre buildings, traditional houses and newer residential developments. Roofs can vary considerably in age, pitch, covering and previous repair history.

Older properties may have weathered mortar, ageing leadwork or several roofing materials where extensions were added over time. Newer homes can still develop faults around valleys, vents and roof junctions. Each property therefore needs to be inspected on its own merits.

A damp mark indoors doesn't always sit directly below the external fault. Rainwater can travel along underlay, rafters or masonry before it becomes visible. We inspect the surrounding roof area carefully and recommend work based on what we find.

Initial Inspection

We assess the accessible tiles, slates, valleys, flashing, chimney and roofline. Where possible, we'll also inspect the loft for damp, staining or daylight entering through the covering.

Recommendation and Quotation

Once the likely cause has been identified, we explain the available repair or replacement options. You'll receive a written quotation outlining the proposed work.

Preparation

We arrange suitable materials, access equipment and scaffolding where required. The area around the property is protected before roofing materials are removed.

Roofing Work

Our team carries out the agreed repair or new roof installation using appropriate materials and established methods. We'll keep you informed as the project progresses.

Final Inspection

The finished work is checked, waste is cleared and the area is left tidy. We then provide the relevant written guarantee information.
